Bandits Kill One, Abduct Seven in Kaduna Millennium City

In a recent attack in Kaduna Millennium City, bandits killed one person and abducted seven others, including three women and four children. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday in the Sabon Gyero community, located in Chikun Local Government Area.

The deceased, identified as Abdullahi Lawal, a deaf mute, was shot in the head while charging phones at a local center. He was rushed to a medical facility but succumbed to his injuries.

Local resident Adamu Yusuf described Lawal as a hardworking and trustworthy individual, expressing deep sorrow over his tragic loss. The attack has left the community in mourning, with Yusuf calling for divine forgiveness and strength for Lawal's family.

Despite the local joint task force responding to gunfire, they were unable to apprehend the attackers. As of the time of the report, neither the Kaduna State government nor security agencies had issued an official statement regarding the incident.
