Bandits Abduct 10 in Kaduna Family and Neighbor Attack

On Thursday night, around 9:32 PM, bandits abducted seven members of the same family and three other residents in Unguwar Sabon Titi, located in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack was confirmed by Mr.

Marku Yakubu, a resident of Katari. The bandits, armed with sophisticated weapons, invaded the compound and took the victims without firing shots, which was believed to be a strategy to avoid attracting attention.

The names of the abducted family members include Jummai Amo, Barnaba Amo, Iko Amo, Babi Amo, Eunic Amo, Eshiwan Amo, and Godwin Amo, while the three neighbors taken were Bagudu Damisa, Evelyn Damisa, and Alfr Iriyo. The attack occurred close to the house of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Katari, which may have contributed to the bandits' decision not to shoot.

Local community leaders received distress calls from residents during the attack but were unable to reach security operatives due to unresponsive contact numbers.
