Nigerian Hon Chief Agbese Lauds Speaker and Kalu for Resolving FG-Contractors’ Standoff

Deputy Spokesperson Nigerian Hon Chief Philip Agbese commended Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu for swiftly resolving a standoff between federal government contractors. Two committees were formed to address grievances related to constituency projects and alleged bureaucratic issues.

Within 24 hours of formation, an expanded meeting led by Deputy Speaker Kalu, Minister of Finance Wale Edu, and Federation Samsudeen Babatunde Ogunjimi, successfully intervened, leading to the resolution of payment issues with over 100 indigenous contractors nationwide. Agbese praised the House's responsive leadership and strategic interventions in resolving disputes promptly.
