Plateau Lawmaker and Businessman in Controversial Land Scandal - ICPC Investigation Ongoing

The Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) clarified its role in a controversial land scandal involving Plateau State House Assembly lawmaker, Hon. Adamu Aliyu, and businessman Abdulyekin Kabiru.

Kabiru petitioned the ICPC alleging that Aliyu fraudulently collected money in a fake land deal. The ICPC launched an investigation, declaring Aliyu wanted.

Kabiru claimed that Aliyu and one Hassan Maimadara deceived him into buying land that belonged to the JMDB without disclosing it. The scandal has raised significant controversy, with allegations of fraud, deception, and coercion.

Aliyu is accused of being an accomplice in the fraudulent scheme, leading to legal actions and investigations.
