Wanted Lawmaker Surrenders to ICPC Over Fraud Allegations

Aliyu, a lawmaker representing Jos Constituency, surrendered to the ICPC in Abuja after being declared wanted for fraud. The Federal High Court issued the order following allegations of swindling in a TETFund contract worth millions at the University of Jos.

Aliyu is accused of forging documents and transferring funds to personal accounts. The case originated from a petition by businessman Mohammed Jidda.

Investigators revealed details of the alleged fraud scheme involving fake contracts and payments.
