JAMB's Oloyede Leads Reform to Combat Examination Malpractice in Nigeria

Prof. Oloyede, the Executive of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), is leading a reform to combat examination malpractice in Nigeria.

Since assuming leadership in August 2016, Oloyede has automated the admission process through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to eliminate human interference and curb malpractices like impersonation. By linking the National Identification Number (NIN) with UTME registration, the Board aims to streamline communication with candidates and stakeholders, while also implementing a ticketing platform to track trends and complaints.

Oloyede's innovative measures have significantly improved the transparency and efficiency of the examination system, ensuring fair practices and enhancing the credibility of JAMB.
