Nigeria Police Force Announces Major Officer Redeployment

The Nigeria Police Force, under the leadership of Inspector General Olatunji Disu, has approved a significant redeployment of senior officers as part of efforts to strengthen operational efficiency and enhance leadership capacity within the force. The announcement was made through a statement by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anthony Placid.

The redeployment includes notable officers such as AIG Simeon U. Akpanudom, who will head the FCID Annex in Lagos, and AIG Moshood Jimoh, who will take charge of Zone 2 in Lagos.

Other key assignments include AIG Miller G. Dantaway to the Department of Operations at Force Headquarters in Abuja, and AIG Emmanuel Ado to Research and Planning.

Additionally, several Commissioners of Police have been reassigned to various state commands, including CP Haruna Alaba Yahaya to Jigawa State and CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola to Oyo State. The reorganization aims to reinforce command structures and ensure strategic personnel deployment across the police force.
