Air Peace Launches Lagos-Conakry-Bamako Flights

Air Peace commenced scheduled flight operations on the Lagos-Conakry-Bamako route, marking an expansion of its regional network. The inaugural flight departed from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2, Lagos, on Saturday.

This initiative is expected to enhance trade, tourism, and economic cooperation between Nigeria, Guinea, and Mali. The airline's Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, and Director of Flight Operations, Augustine Kamano, welcomed a delegation that included Guinea’s Minister of Transport, Ousmane Diallo, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Guinea, Umaru Kamfu, and Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Thiam Sekou.

Diallo emphasized that this new air connection signifies stronger ties between Guinea and Nigeria, facilitating greater movement of people, trade, and investment. Sekou noted the importance of increased air connectivity for Africa's aviation industry and regional integration.

Ambassador Kamfu praised Air Peace for its commitment to expanding its African network, which will ease travel for citizens across the sub-region.
