Air Peace Launches Lagos–Conakry–Bamako Flights

Air Peace commenced flight operations on the Lagos–Conakry–Bamako route on Saturday, August 1, 2026, as part of its strategy to expand regional connectivity in West Africa. The inaugural flight departed from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, linking Nigeria with Conakry, Guinea, and Bamako, Mali.

The airline aims to boost trade, tourism, investment, cultural exchange, and business travel. Upon arrival in Conakry, the delegation, led by Chief Commercial Officer Nowel Ngala and Director of Flight Operations Captain Augustine Kamano, was welcomed by Guinea’s Minister of Transport Ousmane Gaoul Diallo and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Guinea Umaru Kamfu, among others.

Diallo emphasized the route's importance for strengthening Nigeria-Guinea relations. The service will also facilitate connections for passengers traveling to international destinations.

After Conakry, the flight continued to Modibo Keita International Airport in Bamako, where it was received by Malian officials, who noted the route's potential for enhancing trade and tourism. With this addition, Air Peace now serves 13 regional destinations in West Africa.
