Aiyedatiwa Reaffirms Loyalty to APC Amid Allegations

The Ondo State Government, led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dismissed allegations of anti-party activities in light of a meeting with Senator Ayo Akinyelure, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ondo Central Senatorial District. The claims were described as false, misleading, and politically motivated.

Chief Press Secretary Ebenezer Adeniyan stated that the meeting at the Government House Chapel was a public worship event and not indicative of disloyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Akinyelure's visit was to express gratitude to Aiyedatiwa for sending a representative to his 70th birthday celebration.

The government emphasized that Aiyedatiwa remains committed to the APC and its candidates, urging party members to disregard what they termed as mischief aimed at creating division. The statement reinforced Aiyedatiwa's focus on governance and the development of Ondo State, asserting that he will work with all party structures to ensure APC's electoral success in the upcoming elections.
