Aiyedatiwa Reaffirms Loyalty to APC Amid Allegations

Governor Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State addressed allegations of anti-party activities following the circulation of photographs showing him with Senator Ayo Akinyelure, the ADC candidate for Ondo Central Senatorial District, at the Government House Chapel in Akure. In a press briefing on Monday, Chief Press Secretary Ebenezer Adeniyan stated that the meeting was misrepresented to create controversy within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He explained that the Government House Chapel is a public worship space accessible to all citizens, regardless of political affiliation. Senator Akinyelure attended the chapel for worship and to thank Aiyedatiwa for his goodwill message during his 70th birthday celebration.

The government emphasized that Aiyedatiwa remains committed to the APC and its candidates, urging party members to disregard attempts to sow discord. The statement reaffirmed the governor's focus on governance and the development of Ondo State.
