Ondo State Governor's Media Team Faces Sudden Resignations

Within a span of 48 hours, two senior media aides to Ondo State Governor Aiyedatiwa, Taiwo Ilesanmi (Senior Special Assistant on Multimedia) and Olugbenga Abir (Special Assistant on Media), resigned. The reasons for their resignations were not officially disclosed; however, reports indicate dissatisfaction stemming from poor treatment and lack of funding.

Gbamila, the first to resign, submitted a letter addressed to the governor and copied to the office of the Secretary of the Ondo State Government on Monday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve. Abir also shared a farewell message on the governor's media platform, highlighting the bond formed within the small team and the challenges faced during their tenure.

Both aides expressed appreciation for the support received during their time in office, with Abir further updating his exit plans on Facebook.
