Ajax Coach Demands More from Tolu Arokodare After Loss

Ajax coach Míchel Sánchez has called for increased energy and determination from Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare after he scored in Ajax's 3-1 defeat to PSV in the Eredivisie. Arokodare started the match at the Johan Cruijff Arena and equalized in the 23rd minute after Ricardo Pepi's opener.

He was substituted in the 61st minute for Kasper Dolberg as Sánchez sought to inject more energy into the attack. Sánchez noted that Arokodare had not reached his best level and that Ajax needed fresh legs to effectively press PSV and create opportunities.

He expressed disappointment with Arokodare's early contributions, stating that the striker needed to perform better as the team's focal point. The match concluded with PSV scoring two additional goals, leaving Ajax in sixth place in the Eredivisie with seven points from four matches.
