Akpabio Urges Northern Support for Tinubu's Re-election Bid

Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, the Senate President, called on stakeholders in Northern Nigeria to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration for the upcoming re-election bid. He made this appeal while receiving an Award of Excellence from the Arewa Revival Project in Abuja, recognizing his contributions to Nigeria's democratic and legislative development.

Akpabio emphasized the importance of public engagement in advancing the administration's development agenda and assured Northern Nigerian youth of his commitment to initiatives that empower them through education, skills acquisition, and entrepreneurship. He stressed the need for cooperation among the Federal Government, state governments, community leaders, and youth organizations to create opportunities for young Nigerians.

The Project Coordinator of the Arewa Revival Project, Hon. Muttaka Ahmed Ibrahim, presented the award, highlighting Akpabio's contributions to democratic governance and the importance of collaboration to address challenges in Northern Nigeria.
