Regina Akum, Bless Onuh Among 81 APC Aspirants in Benue

In Benue State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is witnessing a competitive race for House of Representatives tickets, with 81 aspirants vying for positions. Notable candidates include Regina Akum, the wife of George Akum, and Bless Onuh, the daughter of former Senate President David Mark.

The primaries will see 14 aspirants contesting for the Vandeikya/Konshisha federal constituency seat, while seven will compete for the Gboko/Tarka federal constituency seat. The primaries are being held under the leadership of Governor Hyacinth Alia.

The APC state secretariat is currently filled with aspirants as the party seeks to resolve internal disagreements linked to Governor Alia and George Akum, following months of factional disputes within the party.
