Gov. Eno Declines to Criticize Predecessor Udom Emmanuel

During a media briefing at the Government House in Uyo, Gov. Eno of Akwa Ibom marked his third year in office and stated he will not engage in conflicts with his predecessors, specifically mentioning Udom Emmanuel.

Eno acknowledged that Emmanuel played a significant role in his election victory in 2023 and expressed that he would refrain from making negative comments about past leaders. He emphasized the importance of delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Akwa Ibom.

However, Eno expressed his displeasure regarding the slow progress of road construction projects, particularly criticizing the performance of local contractors. He indicated that if the pace of work does not improve, he would terminate contracts related to the Juli road project.
