ALCMAN, MOMAN, and BKG Exhibitions Unite for Automotive Growth

ALCMAN (the Automotive Local Content Manufacturers Association of Nigeria), MOMAN (the Motorcycle Manufacturers Association of Nigeria), and BKG Exhibitions have established a strategic partnership aimed at transforming Nigeria’s automotive industry. This collaboration seeks to accelerate local manufacturing, deepen the domestic supply chain, and reduce Nigeria's longstanding dependence on imported vehicle components.

The partnership is characterized as a significant shift from an import-driven market to one that fosters local production capabilities. Anselm Ilekuba, the chairman of ALCMAN, emphasized the necessity of developing a robust component ecosystem to support sustainable growth in the automotive sector.

The alliance will also facilitate a platform for showcasing Nigerian-made products, allowing manufacturers to connect directly with buyers, government agencies, and investors. This initiative is expected to create jobs, enhance technical capabilities, and ultimately contribute to the broader economic landscape by empowering small and medium enterprises within the automotive supply chain.
