Benue Governor Orders Manhunt for Terrorists Behind Recent Attack

Governor Alia, through his Chief Press Secretary Kula Terso, expressed deep sorrow over the incident and vowed to ensure the perpetrators face justice. The attack involved armed bandits targeting a community, resulting in deaths and destruction.

The Nigerian Police Force confirmed the deaths of several individuals, including police officers and civilians. The governor emphasized the government's commitment to protecting lives and properties, urging unity and resilience in the face of such challenges.

Traditional ruler Timothy Ayil confirmed the deaths of six police officers during the attack. The Federal Government has been urged to establish a military unit in the area to enhance security.
