Alia Orders Security Deployment to Tackle Benue Insecurity

Governor Alia of Benue State has announced a fresh security deployment aimed at addressing the ongoing insecurity challenges in the state. This decision was communicated through a statement signed by Solomon Iorpev, the Technical Adviser to the Governor.

The deployment focuses on troubled communities, particularly in Kwand Local Government Area, as part of a broader strategy to restore peace and stability. Governor Alia expressed his administration's determination to pursue and prosecute individuals involved in violent acts, reaffirming the government's commitment to protecting the lives and properties of residents.

He issued a stern warning to criminal elements, stating that they would face the full weight of the law. The governor highlighted that the safety of residents and the protection of farmland remain priorities for his administration, which will not be discouraged by attempts to destabilize communities across the state.
