Alex Ekubo: Celebrated Nollywood Actor and Humanitarian

Alex Ekubo, born on April 10, 1986, in Port Harcourt, River State, Nigeria, is a notable actor and model in the Nigerian entertainment industry. His career took a significant turn in 2010 when he emerged as the first runner-up in the Mr.

Nigeria contest, which opened doors for him in modeling and acting. Ekubo has appeared in several successful Nollywood films, including "Lagos Cougar," "Weekend Getaway," "Blaze," and "Sugar Rush," establishing himself as a familiar face in the industry.

He is fluent in English, Igbo, and Hausa. Beyond acting, Ekubo is actively involved in humanitarian initiatives and was inducted into MIPAD's Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent in 2020.
