AFRIMA Opens Submissions for 10th Edition on October 11

The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), in partnership with the African Union (AU), will officially open the entry portal for its 10th edition on October 11, 2026. This portal will remain open until January 10, 2027, allowing artists, songwriters, producers, and other music professionals from Africa and the Diaspora to submit their works for consideration.
The awards ceremony is set to take place from May 18–23, 2027, in Lagos, Nigeria. Entries will be accepted across 40 award categories, which include both Regional and Continental categories that reflect Africa’s diverse music genres.
Eligible participants include artists, songwriters, music producers, video directors, DJs, dancers, choreographers, record labels, and music executives, as well as unrecorded artists of African origin. Only works produced or released between August 10, 2025, and January 10, 2027, will be eligible.
The opening of the portal follows the unveiling of the 10th AFRIMA global calendar event in Los Angeles on September 20, 2026.
