Nigerian Military Officers Detained in Alleged Coup Plot Unveiled

Details have emerged about 16 Nigerian military officers detained for an alleged coup plot against the government. The detained officers include high-ranking officials such as a Brigadier General, Colonels, Lieutenant Colonels, Majors, and Captains from the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Most of the detained officers hail from regions in the North, with only one Lieutenant from the South West. The officers are from different courses at the Nigerian Defence Academy, with some belonging to the first batch arrested.

The investigation is ongoing to uncover more details about the alleged coup plot.
