DSS Arraigns Chidiebere Justice Mark for Cybercrime

Chidiebere Justice Mark, referred to as Justice Crack, was arraigned by the Department of State Services (DSS) at the Federal High Court in Abuja on three counts related to cybercrime. The charges stem from allegations that he circulated false information and a viral video concerning the Nigerian Army, which purportedly aimed to incite public unrest and negative sentiment towards the military.

The presiding judge, Justice Joyc Abdulmalik, noted that the defense lawyer, Marshal Abubakar, did not submit a bail application, leading to the adjournment of the case until May 25, 2026. Mark, an adult male residing at Plot 88 Sabon Lugbe, Abuja, faces serious charges under the Cybercrime Prohibition and Prevention Act of 2015 and the Criminal Code Act.

The court proceedings highlighted the potential implications of his actions, which allegedly caused public fear and unrest.
