Prosecution Case Against Influencer Justice Chidiebere Opens

The Federal Government has initiated a prosecution against social media influencer Justice Chidiebere, also known as Justice Crack, on three counts of alleged cybercrime. The case was brought before Justice Joyc Abdulmalik at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Chidiebere pleaded not guilty to the charges. The first prosecuting witness, Oronto Douglas, continued his testimony, which included affirming audio and video recordings related to the case.

The defense counsel indicated that they would not object to the submission of evidence, and the court granted the prosecution's request to continue. Justice Abdulmalik adjourned the matter to September 28 to allow the prosecution to present further forensic evidence as requested by the deputy chief registrar.
