FG Withdraws Forgery Charges Against Lawyer Mike Ozekhome

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially withdrawn charges against Mike Ozekhome, a prominent lawyer, who was implicated in a property dispute involving alleged forgery. The case was filed in the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, concerning a property located at 79 Randal Avenue, London NW2 7SX.

The charges stemmed from accusations that Ozekhome used fraudulent documents to claim ownership of the property, which was later traced to the late General Jeremiah Useni from Plateau State. The Director of Public Prosecutions, Rotimi Oyedepo, informed Justice Peter Kekemek that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) had decided to take a holistic view of the case to determine the appropriate course of action.

This decision reflects a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the alleged property fraud.
