Developers Demand Probe of FHA Boss Over Land Grabbing

A coalition of real estate developers has urged President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly to investigate Oyetund Ojo, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), for alleged land grabbing and extortion. The coalition, represented by Benjamin Yamusa and Nofisat Kareem, claims that Ojo's actions have resulted in significant financial losses and have stalled numerous multi-billion naira projects.

They allege that Ojo's tenure has led to ongoing court cases and delays in land development approvals, causing financial strain due to mounting debts owed to banks. The developers assert that Ojo has been involved in collusion with land grabbers, which has hindered progress and led to harassment from security agents.

They are calling for urgent intervention to address these issues and support the government's housing development agenda. Despite multiple attempts to reach Ojo for comment, he was unavailable at the time of the report.
