FHA Launches 195 Housing Units Development in Ogun State

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has initiated the construction of 195 housing units in Ogun State, specifically in Ofada, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area. The groundbreaking ceremony was performed by Hon.

Oyetunde Ojo, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of FHA, on Wednesday. This project is part of the FHA's commitment to increasing the national housing stock, fulfilling a mandate from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who assumed office two years ago.

The development includes 95 two-bedroom units and 100 three-bedroom terrace duplexes, executed through a tripartite partnership involving FHA, Akkenog International Company Ltd, and Greenpastur Home Ltd. Hon.

Ojo emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing housing solutions, stating that the government cannot tackle these challenges alone. The project aims to provide safe and comfortable living environments for residents and is expected to significantly contribute to the housing sector in Nigeria.
