Youth Group Seeks EFCC Prosecution of Ex-Abia Governors Over Missing N1 Trillion

A youth group in Abuja has petitioned the Federal High Court to compel the EFCC to prosecute three ex-Abia State governors, including Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, for allegedly mismanaging N1 trillion in state funds. The group questions why the EFCC had not investigated the alleged mismanagement of funds, including substantial amounts from various sources.

The court is being asked to review the EFCC's inaction and compel them to take legal action against the former governors. Susan Nwaze, a Nigerian citizen, has filed an affidavit raising concerns about the missing funds.
