Salihu Lukman Resigns from ADC Amid Leadership Issues

Salihu Lukman, a prominent political figure, has suspended his membership in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to allegations of manipulation within the party's leadership structure in Kaduna State. His political career has seen him serve as the Director General of the Progress Governor Forum and as the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Northwest.

Lukman has been an outspoken critic of the APC leadership, resigning from various positions, including the APC National Working Committee, due to concerns over the party's internal democracy and decision-making processes. He has expressed that the APC no longer reflects the values upon which it was established.

Lukman is actively working to forge a broad opposition alliance capable of challenging the APC in the 2027 general elections, collaborating with notable figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former governors Rotimi Amaechi and Nasir El-Rufai.
