AMAC-IPDC Appoints Dangana Danjuma Jimiko as New MD

The Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), under the leadership of Chairman Christoph Zakka Maikalangu, has appointed Dangana Danjuma Jimiko as the new Managing Director of AMAC Investment Property Development Company (AMAC-IPDC). This decision, announced on Monday through a statement by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki, follows the removal of the former Managing Director, Tanko Atuwa, effective immediately.

Chairman Maikalangu emphasized that this leadership change is part of a strategic effort to realign the council's investment arm with its core objectives, which include boosting internal generated revenue (IGR) and reducing dependence on external funding. He urged the incoming GMD, Jimiko, to bring a high level of innovation, transparency, and dedicated management to the company.

The chairman expressed gratitude for the outgoing MD's service and reiterated the administration's commitment to making necessary personnel adjustments to ensure the delivery of the people's mandate.
