AMAC Chairman-elect Christoph Maikalangu's Project Pledge

Christoph Maikalangu, the chairman-elect of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), expressed his commitment to delivering people-focused projects during a congratulatory visit from various political support groups in Abuja on Monday. Maikalangu, who was elected for a second term on February 21, 2026, pledged to expand road infrastructure, improve schools, and provide health centers across communities.

He commended residents for renewing his mandate and assured them that his administration would build on the successes of his first term, which included significant achievements in road infrastructure and human capital development. Maikalangu emphasized the importance of grassroots leadership and stated that the council's focus would be on community-driven initiatives.

He extended an olive branch to political opponents, urging them to join hands with his administration for the development of the council. Maikalangu expressed appreciation for the support from council staff and leadership in the Federal Capital Territory.
