Amaechi, Hayatu-Deen Reject ADC Primary Results

Chibuike Amaechi and Moham Hayatu-Deen, both members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), have unequivocally rejected the results of the party's presidential primaries held recently. They decried the process as flawed, alleging widespread voter disenfranchisement and electoral malpractice across the country.

Despite the initial results showing Atiku Abubakar maintaining a significant lead in the presidential primaries, Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen stated that the announced outcomes do not reflect the values of the ADC, which pledges to uphold democracy and represent the voices of the downtrodden in Nigeria. They expressed their commitment to ensuring that the party remains distinct from others by not accepting results that are perceived as concocted.

Hayatu-Deen also announced he would not attend the official announcement of the ADC presidential primary results due to concerns over reported irregularities. Meanwhile, Omoyele Sowore emerged as the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC) during their primaries held in Abuja.
