Amaechi Remains ADC Vice Presidential Candidate, Says Abdullahi

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the ADC, confirmed that Rotimi Amaechi is still the Vice Presidential candidate for the party. He responded to questions regarding speculation about internal crises within the party and Amaechi's acceptance of the nomination.

Abdullahi stated that there was no crisis and that the party's decision-making process was adhered to. He indicated that formal announcements regarding the candidacy would occur at an appropriate time, emphasizing that the campaign has not yet formally started.

Abdullahi declined to provide details about internal consultations but insisted that due process was followed in reaching the decision. He reiterated that the ADC is focused on building a strong political party rather than individual ambitions, and he expressed confidence in the party's ability to conduct nationwide elections among its members across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
