Amaechi Threatens to Leave ADC Over Obi's Favoritism

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesman for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), revealed in an interview on Symphony TV that Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transport, expressed dissatisfaction with the coalition's leadership. Abdullahi stated that Amaechi threatened to leave the ADC because he felt that the coalition was favoring Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate.

Abdullahi further mentioned that Amaechi's concerns stemmed from the coalition's structure, which he believed was biased towards Obi. Additionally, Abdullahi noted that Osita Chidoka, a former Minister of Aviation, was involved in efforts to facilitate Peter Obi's inclusion in the coalition.

Abdullahi emphasized that no member of the national working committee described Amaechi as disloyal, indicating that the ADC leadership is aware of his contributions and loyalty to the party.
