Nigeria's Ambassador Presents Credentials to Korea's President

On July 22, 2026, Ambassador (Prof.) Nora Ladi Daduut, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Korea, presented her Letters of Credence to President Lee Jae Myung during a formal ceremony at the Blue House in Seoul. During the meeting, Ambassador Daduut conveyed greetings from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and emphasized Nigeria's commitment to the longstanding partnership with Korea, which has lasted over 45 years.

She congratulated President Lee on the first anniversary of his presidency and praised Korea's economic achievements, expressing Nigeria's desire to leverage Korea's expertise for its development priorities. The Ambassador extended an invitation for President Lee to undertake an official State Visit to Nigeria, believing it would enhance bilateral cooperation and diplomatic relations.

President Lee welcomed the Ambassador and requested her to convey his greetings to President Tinubu, reaffirming Korea's commitment to strengthening ties with Nigeria as a key economic partner in Africa.
