Nigeria Strengthens Ties with Sierra Leone Through Diplomacy

On a recent occasion in Freetown, Nigeria's High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Ayo Luther Ogbomod, officially presented Letters of Credence to President Julius Maada Bio. This ceremony marked a formal recognition of Ogbomod as Nigeria's ambassador to Sierra Leone, enabling him to fully discharge his diplomatic responsibilities in the host nation.

During the ceremony, Ogbomod conveyed goodwill from Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reiterating Nigeria's commitment to enhancing the enduring relationship between the two countries. The High Commissioner congratulated President Bio on his assumption of the ECOWAS chairmanship, emphasizing the importance of Nigeria and Sierra Leone's collaboration in regional peacekeeping, democratic governance, and economic development.
