American Cola Launches Creative Court in Lagos

Planet Bottling Company, the makers of American Cola, officially unveiled the American Cola Creative Court in Ilupeju, Lagos, following a complete renovation of the basketball court. This project was executed in partnership with the Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The redesigned space serves as a multi-purpose creative hub for young people to engage in basketball, content creation, dance, and music. Awada, the Marketing Manager at Planet Bottling Company, stated that this initiative is part of a long-term strategy to invest in grassroots basketball, with plans for further expansions.

The Communications Manager explained that the revamped court aims to attract not only basketball players but also creators and dancers. Additionally, American Cola donated community jerseys, producing 10 red and 10 white jerseys for local male and female players, with plans for more in the following year.

The unveiling also marked the commencement of the American Cola Basketball Tournament, featuring teams from various Lagos communities.
