NBC Launches Three New Production Lines in Nigeria

The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) has officially commissioned three new production lines at its Asejire plant in Oyo State and Challawa plant in Kano State. The formal commissioning ceremony was attended by Senator John Owan Enoh, the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment.

This initiative is part of Coca-Cola's commitment to invest $1 billion in Nigeria over the next five years. The new production lines at the Asejire plant are equipped with world-class technology and advanced bottling capabilities, meeting global standards.

The commissioning of these lines aims to strengthen NBC's operations in Kano, where the company has been present since 1982. Goran Sladic, the Managing Director of NBC, stated that this investment reflects the company's long-term commitment to Nigeria's growth story, emphasizing the importance of investing in people and infrastructure to enhance manufacturing capabilities across the country.
