Amusan Flops as Ofili, Ezekiel Shine in Lausanne Diamond League

Nigerian athletes Favour Ofili and Nathaniel Ezekiel showcased impressive performances at the Lausanne Diamond League in Switzerland. Ofili secured second place in the 200m race, while Ezekiel claimed his first 400m hurdle win in the prestigious event.

However, World Record holder in the women's 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan, disappointed by finishing fifth. American Brittany Brown won the 200m race, with Côte d'Ivoire's athlete coming in third.

In the women's 100m hurdles, Dutch Nadine Visser set a season best time to clinch first place, leaving Amusan in fifth. Despite Amusan's setback, Ofili and Ezekiel's successes highlighted Nigeria's presence in the international athletics scene.
