Tobi Amusan Triumphs at Paris Diamond League with 12.28s

Tobi Amusan, a 29-year-old athlete from Ogun State, secured victory at the Paris Diamond League with a season's best performance of 12.28 seconds. This win marks her third consecutive Diamond League triumph.

In the race, Amusan faced tough competition from US athletes Grace Stark, who finished second with a time of 12.38 seconds, and Alysha Johnson, who took third place with a time of 12.39 seconds. Despite a slower start, Amusan demonstrated patience and skill, moving from fourth place to take the lead after the seventh hurdle and finishing strongly in the final 30 meters.

Her recent victory follows a successful performance in Rabat, where she also excelled. Amusan's next race is scheduled for the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon, where she previously set a world record time of 12.12 seconds on July 4.
