Tobi Amusan Wins Paris Diamond League 100m Hurdles

Tobi Amusan, the current record holder in women's 100m hurdles, achieved a season's best time of 12.28 seconds to win at the Paris Diamond League held on Sunday. She finished ahead of American athletes Grace Stark, who placed second with a time of 12.38 seconds, and Alaysha Johnson, who came in third at 12.39 seconds.

Amusan produced a strong finish after initially trailing Nadin Visser, who took an early lead. This victory marks Amusan's third win in the Diamond League circuit this season, following her triumphs at the Rabat Diamond League and the New Taipei City Athletics Open earlier in the month.

The 28-year-old Nigerian athlete began her season by winning her fourth consecutive African title and continues to build momentum ahead of the Diamond League final and the Commonwealth Games later this year. Amusan previously won three consecutive Diamond League titles from 2021 to 2023 and aims to reclaim her crown this season.
