Tobi Amusan Claims Season's Best at Xiamen Diamond League

At the Xiamen Diamond League, Tobi Amusan secured a second-place finish in the women's 100m hurdles, achieving a season's best time of 12.37 seconds. The event was won by Masai Russell, who finished with a time of 12.14 seconds, while Devyn Charlton from the Bahamas took third place with a time of 12.37 seconds as well.

Amusan, the world record holder, started slightly behind Russell but managed to overtake Charlton. Despite her efforts, she could not close the gap to Russell's winning time.

This event marked Amusan's first appearance in the Diamond League for the season, where she previously finished third in an earlier meet. She is set to compete next in the Diamond League series scheduled for May 31 in Rabat, Morocco.
