APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Criticizes National Leadership Over Election Loss

The APC deputy governorship candidate in Anambra State expressed dissatisfaction with the party's national leadership for not providing sufficient support during the November 8, 2025 election. She highlighted the commitment of APC members in Anambra and urged for unity and increased participation in the party's registration exercise.

The candidate acknowledged the divine will in electoral outcomes and emphasized the need for hard work and unity within the party. The APC state chairman also expressed dissatisfaction with the low turnout in the registration process.

An e-registration coordinator reported that 17,488 people had registered so far, with some areas performing better than others. The candidate stressed the importance of unity around the party's presidential candidate for 2027, Bola Tinubu.
