Ubah, known as Ebubechukwu Uzo, served as the ANSFA chairman from 2016 to 2020, during which he launched the One Family, One Footballer initiative to develop grassroots football talent.
He also facilitated a partnership between FC Ifeanyi Ubah and English Premier League club West Ham United. Under his leadership, FC Ifeanyi Ubah won the 2016 Federation Cup and represented Nigeria in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup.
Ubah passed away on July 27, 2024.
