Tinubu to Meet Oyo APC Stakeholders Amid Crisis

President Bola Tinubu is expected to schedule further meetings with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) regarding the ongoing crisis in Oyo State over the selection of the governorship candidate. The primaries resulted in Senator Sharafadeen Alli being chosen, but other contestants have contested this outcome.

Last week, Tinubu met with Senator Teslim Folarin, the Renewed Hope Ambassador in Oyo, to unify party support. Reports suggest that Tinubu may convene a larger meeting with stakeholders before the campaign kickoff.

Meanwhile, Senator Alli is making peace efforts alongside a peace committee established by the Oyo APC chapter. In Kwara State, the APC leadership is still deliberating on the governorship candidate issue, with state chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi stating that the national leadership will announce the candidates.

Senator Saliu Mustapha is mentioned as a potential winner of the governorship primary, although conflicting claims exist regarding the results.
