Anambra Lawmaker Denies ₦50 Million Bribe Allegations

Anambra State lawmaker Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike has refuted claims of accepting a ₦50 million bribe to defect to the APC. Representing Nnewi North State constituency, Ike, who recently moved from the YPP to the APC, dismissed the allegations during an interview at his constituency office in Nnewi.

He challenged those spreading the rumors to provide evidence. Ike also commented on the upcoming Anambra State governorship election, suggesting that Governor Charles Soludo could emerge victorious.

He emphasized the unpredictability of elections and expressed confidence in the electoral process.
