Anambra LG Renames Road to Honor Chief Emeka Anyaoku

On Wednesday, the Idemili North Local Government in Anambra State officially renamed Limca Road to Ichi Emeka Anyaoku Road, honoring Chief Emeka Anyaoku, the former Commonwealth Secretary-General. The renaming ceremony took place at Nkpor Junction and was led by Chairman Stanlei Nkwoka, who emphasized Anyaoku's selfless contributions to the community and his inspirational role for the youth.

The renaming process involved legislative approval, signifying the local government's commitment to recognizing Anyaoku's legacy. Chief Osita Chidoka, a former Minister of Aviation, praised Anyaoku's integrity and contributions, noting that his name would inspire future generations.
