NOA Advocates for Women's Justice in Anambra State

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Anambra State, represented by its director Barr. Ladi Ifeoma Chijiok, highlighted the significance of access to justice for women and the girl child during an event in Awka.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day focused on fostering a mindset of collaboration to accelerate women's advancement. Barr.

Chijiok noted that the event serves as a platform for groups to raise funds and promote visibility for women's charity programs. She pointed out the global backlash against human rights and the increasing discrimination and violence against women and the girl child.

Despite these challenges, she acknowledged that Anambra State has produced women of great substance who have contributed significantly to the holistic development of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
