Yiaga Africa Urges INEC for Timely Election Result Upload in Anambra

Yiaga Africa has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure the timely upload of election results using the Biometric Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) for the Anambra governorship election. Failure to comply may lead to sanctions as per electoral laws.

The organization also emphasized the need for security agencies to provide adequate security, early deployment of election personnel and materials, and strict oversight to ensure a credible electoral process. The European Union is supporting the election observation efforts in Anambra State.
