Itauma Responds to Hrgovic's Taunts Before Title Fight

Moses Itauma, a 21-year-old boxing prospect, is preparing for his IBF heavyweight world title clash against Filip Hrgovic on Saturday at the O2 Arena in London. Itauma admitted that he is being "wound up" by Hrgovic's pre-fight taunts, particularly comments labeling him a "kid" with limited experience.

He noted that Hrgovic's jibes, including a remark about him "waking up and hugging trees," are starting to irritate him. Hrgovic, 34, has a professional record of 20 wins, one loss, and 15 knockouts, and he has dismissed Itauma's capabilities while asserting his own experience will be decisive in the fight.

Itauma, who remains unbeaten in 14 professional contests with 12 knockouts, stated that his motivation to win remains unchanged despite the vacant title on the line. A victory would make him the second-youngest heavyweight world champion in history, following Mike Tyson.
